Dallas Buyers Club hits theatres Nov 1

A straight take on the early days of the AIDS epidemic

Dallas Buyers Club, starring Matthew McConaughey, is being released Nov 1.

Dallas Buyers Club, which premiered at TIFF earlier this fall, is set to hit North American theatres on Nov 1. The film is generating Oscar buzz for the all-star cast, which includes Matthew McConaughey in the lead role of Ron Woodroof.

The movie is based on the real-life story of Woodroof, a homophobic drug addict from Texas who starts up a smuggling operation to get AIDS drugs into the US after being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. His operation puts him face-to-face with the LGBT community.

Above is Daily Xtra‘s video coverage of the movie’s premiere at TIFF.
