And there’s another Rob Ford video. Super.

It’s been a week since the police got their hands on the now infamous Rob Ford crack video, and thus far the story’s become an international punchline. We even made it onto The Daily Show AND The Colbert Report! Seriously, the one time Jon Stewart talks about Toronto, and it’s because there’s a video of our mayor sucking on a pipe.

Super-dee-duper.

Well, guess what? There’s a second video. And this one has actually been leaked for everyone to see.

In the video, released by the Toronto Star, Ford can be seen pacing around a room, belligerent and screaming about an unnamed person. The list of things Rob Ford says at some point or another in his rant includes:

  • “I’m gonna kill that fucking guy. I’m telling you, it’s first-degree murder.”
  • “I’ll rip his fucking throat out. I’ll poke his eyes out. . . . I’ll make sure that motherfucker’s dead.”
  • “I need fucking 10 minutes to make sure he’s dead. It’ll be over in five minutes, brother.”
  • “No holds barred, brother. He dies, or I die, brother.”

So clearly, Rob Ford has some major issues he has to deal with, and at this point? It probably would be in his best interests (and our own) if he stepped down so that he could quietly and personally take care of his issues before they spiral into something worse.

In all fairness, we have no idea what the context behind this is. We have no idea what the intention behind everything he said is, regardless of how it comes across. But there’s no way he can see himself like this, using the rhetoric he uses, and think this is appropriate for someone in his position.
