James Franco at TIFF
Hollywood heartthrob among stars drawing screaming crowds
James Franco touched down at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend. He is in town to promote his soon-to-be-released film, Spring Breakers.
The film doesn't have a lot of queer content, but Franco is a favourite among gay men for his work in the Allen Ginsberg biopic, Howl. Franco also starred in Milk, as well as last year’s Memories of Idaho, a meditation on Gus Van Sant’s My Own Private Idaho, a seminal gay flick.
And, of course, Franco's good looks can't be ignored.
Below are a few snippets of Franco and Spring Breakers co-star Selena Gomez on the red carpet. TIFF runs until Sept 16. Stay tuned to xtra.ca for more coverage over the coming days.
